Basic Jewelry Making
Instructions

I don’t really think jewelry making instructions can be put into one simple instructional category. Everything depends on what you are making and which jewelry making technique you are going to use.

Click on any of the categories below to go to the different jewelry making styles and techniques. Or click on the type of jewelry you want to make to learn how to make different styles of that type.

How to Make a Necklace

The only truly basic instructions there are:

Gather your tools and jewelry making supplies. Create and connect all of your components with your findings. You now have a piece of handmade jewelry.

Not very helpful or productive, if you ask me, so please use the links above. There are much more complete, and helpful instructions on those pages.

There are just so many different variables involved in jewelry making. I have only touched on a few of them. You could spend a lifetime trying to master each and every technique. I suggest you try a few of them, find your favorite, and make some jewelry!
